Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy team is professionally trained to use evaluation, traction, electrical stimulation, therapeutic exercises, and mobility to treat both acute and chronic pain, physical impairments caused from injuries, past traumas, or physical illnesses. Our physical therapists use their training to treat a variety of issues ranging from musculoskeletal to neurological disorders and specializes in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. We also offer on-site aquatic therapy.
Our therapists focus on patient assessments and plan of care creation specific to each individual. Our physical therapy team collaborates with the different specialties within Insight Comprehensive Therapy and also works directly with the referring physician or provider. We strive to help our patients return to the optimal level of function. Our therapists are able to assess wheelchair mobility and management training, prosthetic and orthotic training, and assessment of fit and instruction for use. Our therapists most commonly use therapeutic activities, including bed mobility training, transfer training, and optimal wheelchair mobility or gait training. This can also be integrated with balance training, sitting, and standing to improve stability and safety with transfers and gait.
