Dr. Zubair Sarmast serves as the Director of Insight Orthopedic Specialists. Born and raised in Michigan, he earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor.Dr. Sarmast later pursued five years of orthopedic surgery training at the Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University. He then completed further specialized fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, focusing on surgery of the hand, elbow, and shoulder. He also received his Board Certification through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Although Dr. Sarmast has a passion for treating complex upper extremity problems, he enjoys taking care of general orthopedics conditions as well.
