Medical Chair for Rheumatology
Dr. Hassan Nasir is a compassionate rheumatologist dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients with rheumatic conditions through accurate diagnosis, personalized treatment, and ongoing support.
He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida. During his time at Larkin, he held several leadership roles, including medical director of the asthma and immunology outpatient clinics, fellowship program director for allergy and immunology, department head, and chief of staff. He has also served in clinical faculty positions at Larkin Community Hospital, Central Michigan University, and Michigan State University.
Dr. Nasir is board-certified in allergy and immunology, internal medicine, and obesity medicine. He specializes in treating a range of rheumatic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, with a strong emphasis on building trusted, long-term relationships with his patients.
