Heather Vogel, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 15 years of experience, I am deeply passionate about empowering individuals on their journey toward mental wellness. My practice is built on a foundation of partnership—I work collaboratively with each patient to foster self-advocacy, personal growth, and emotional healing.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Lewis University in Chicago, where I gained the clinical expertise and evidence-based training that continue to inform my practice today.

What sets my approach apart is the integration of traditional psychiatric care with holistic, person-centered strategies. I believe in treating the whole individual—mind, body, and spirit—recognizing that true healing involves more than just symptom management. Whether through medication management, psychotherapy, or lifestyle interventions, my goal is always to support long-term wellness and meaningful transformation.

Healing is a deeply collaborative process, and I consider it both a privilege and an honor to walk alongside my patients as a compassionate guide and unwavering advocate. There is no greater reward than witnessing someone reclaim their life, rediscover their strength, and thrive.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading (mostly audiobooks these days), traveling—especially to tropical destinations—boxing, and spending quality time with my family.
