Glioblastoma
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is an aggressive tumor that has a poor prognosis with a median survival of 15 months with treatment. Management of GBM patients includes surgical resection of the tumor, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, however, there is no available cure. We are testing the efficacy of variable treatments for GBM. Recently, we have been working on the development of a nanoparticle-hyperthermia-based approach as a treatment for brain tumors.
