Insight Residential Therapy

Insight Residential Therapy is a rehabilitation team located at the Insight Flint Campus that provides Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy for the Insight Healing Center residents. The team specializes in treatment of patients who have experienced multi-level trauma as a result of automobile accidents, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury as well as orthopedic injuries. These complex patients are provided with one on one therapist care (or even two therapists to one patient) to deliver the most individualized, effective care plan possible in a special dedicated therapy gym just for Healing Center residents. Upon arrival to Insight Healing Center, a patient will be evaluated by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and/or Speech Language Pathologist to determine the type of services the will require and to create a plan for the patient, whether that is to return to their prior home living situation or to remain in residential care if they require 24 hour supervision or assistance indefinitely due to their injuries. The rehabilitation therapists work hand in hand with the patients, caregivers, physicians and nursing team to facilitate optimal recovery. Our therapy team strives to provide patient care second to none!
