Dementia & Memory Loss

Neuropsychologists can aid in the diagnosis and management of patients with dementia and memory loss using a series of tests to evaluate cognitive abilities such as attention, short-term and long-term memory, language, reasoning, and processing speed.

Deficits Following Stroke or Other Vascular Events

Following a stroke or other vascular event, a neuropsychologist can help determine certain cognitive deficits and whether a person is able to return to daily activities such as work, driving, and making decisions.

ADHD

Neuropsychologists can accurately diagnose ADHD, learning disabilities, and other cognitive functioning using a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation. Following a comprehensive assessment, a neuropsychologist can identify the individual’s strengths and weaknesses and provide resources for home, school, and work.

Concussion

After a concussion, a neuropsychologist can provide assessments to determine changes in an individual’s thinking and behavior, memory, attention, reasoning, and other cognitive skills. Neuropsychologists also specialize in post-injury education and symptom management to assist patients as they resume normal activities.

Seizure Disorders

Neuropsychologists play an important role in diagnosing people with seizure disorders. Using comprehensive evaluations, a neuropsychologist will assess brain function, attention, memory, language, and other factors related to seizure disorders, providing targeted recommendations for treatment.

Angelo Dasuqi, PTA

Angelo Dasuqi is a licensed physical therapist assistant at Insight Comprehensive Therapy. He graduated as a physical therapy assistant from Delta College in 2018 and has been at Insight since 2019. Angelo has three children. He enjoys playing all sports, being with friends and family, reading, and having a good laugh.

Andrea Miron, PTA

Andrea Miron is a board-certified physical therapist assistant at Insight Comprehensive Therapy. She graduated from Mott Community College in 2021 and joined Insight in February 2022. As a multi-sport athlete during her high school and college years, Andrea went to physical therapy for injuries she experienced while playing sports. She decided to pursue a career in physical therapy to give back and help those who also require rehabilitation. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family, three cats, and being outdoors camping and hiking.

Kelly Lopp, PTA

Kelly Lopp is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at Insight Comprehensive Therapy. She graduated from Mott Community College in 2018 and joined Insight in 2023. Kelly has extensive experience working with patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. In the outpatient setting, she also provides care for pediatric patients as young as three months old, including children on the autism spectrum and those with musculoskeletal injuries. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, drawing, and strength training at the gym.

Tonni Marinelli, PT

Tonni Marinelli is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant at Insight Comprehensive Therapy. Tonni graduated from Mott Community College’s PTA Class in 2021 with the highest honors. She has been working as a PTA since and joined the Insight Comprehensive Therapy team in July of 2024. Tonni’s experience and passion are in guiding and assisting patients throughout their recovery from various musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions. When it comes to helping restore mobility, improving strength, and managing pain, Tonni is committed to enhancing each patient’s quality of life and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. Outside of the clinic, Tonni enjoys traveling, hiking, and attending concerts.
