Bharat Mehta, MD - Interventional Neuroradiologist
Dr. Mehta received his medical degree from the University of Bombay, and completed his internship at University of Bombay, and Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, New Jersey. His residency and fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology was completed at University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Mehta worked at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit from 1980 to 2002 as Director of Interventional Neuroradiology. He also worked as a Professor of Radiology at University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Mehta is Board Eligable in Neuroradiology and Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Mehta joined IINN in the summer of 2008 and is one of 300 Interventional Neuroradiologists in the world, offering a variety of procedures, including intracranial, extracranial, carotid and vertebral-basilar stenting and acute stroke management. Dr. Mehta currently practices at Hurley Medical Center.
