Amer Iqbal - Vice President

Amer has a software development background. He worked in retail for over 10 years spending the early part of his career at The Northwest Company located in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada where he was also born and raised. He moved to Grand Rapids, MI in 1999 after being hired by Meijer. There he was the team lead for a very large project to convert all of the store client server based applications to a web based system. After successful implementation of this project he decided to venture into the health care industry taking on a job at Henry Ford Health System. He worked for a research department funded primarily by the Department of Defense. Amer again filled the project lead role to design an EMR system for the Obstetrician/Gynecology department to be deployed across the entire health system. After successful implementation of the project Amer decided to build and run his own consulting company. His primary focus was on integration of technology with Physician practices and streamlining business processes. In January of 2007, after working together with Dr. Shah on a small project, Amer decided to focus his efforts full time at IINN.
